About the illustrations
In this book, I set out to create the atmosphere of summer holidays — when every day is full of fun and adventure, and the air is filled with the scents of the sweetest berries and flowers. The illustration style is chosen deliberately: it interacts with the reader. Some images are intentionally made to resemble a coloring book, while the colored ones look as if drawn with colored pencils. This invites young readers to grab their own pencils and "finish the pictures in this book."
